Hanna’s Newport Senior Session was an absolute blast! I had the best time getting to know her and her mom and am so glad that they choose me to capture her senior photos, we met at Vanity Belle Salon in Newport Beach where Hanna got her hair and makeup done by the amazing Kandice. She wanted a more natural look with soft beach waves and it looks so stunning, and I helped sort though all of the clothes Hanna brought and planned the outfits with the locations I had already decided would be perfect for her session. After Hanna filled out my senior questionnaire form I knew we had to get some stunning beach photos since she practically lives at the beach playing volleyball.
Hanna is on the Varsity Volleyball team at Huntington Beach High school, and not only is she crazy talented she is going to be in New York in a month to start her Freshman year of college and wants to be a cardiology surgeon. Brains and beauty! After we got done at the salon we headed to the Back Bay Preserve and got some photos in the outdoors and at the awesome building down the trail. Then we went to some of my favorite locations in a neighborhood in Newport Beach and used some back alleys and front yards to get some beautiful backdrops. Then it was off to the beach. We got three different looks on the beach, the casual, the dress for Hanna’s graduation, and her volleyball uniform.
We took pictures until there was no light left and I was laughing the entire time, what a stunning girl inside and out, I only wish I could have photoshoots like this every day! I am in love with all of the backlighting and her Hanna’s golden sunshine hair!
