Champlin Flower Field High School Senior Session

Carine found me through Google and really loved how I like to make all my senior sessions super unique and fun and bring out who my seniors are and I love that she found me to capture her senior pictures. Carine really wanted something flowery and naturey so I took her to all the floury spots that I knew of, which was hard because it was so late in the year all the flowers were pretty much gone. Carine and her mom drove about 2 and 1/2 hours from Albert Lea to come to the session with me which is so amazing and I love that I have people that are coming from a few hours away just to be able to be in front of my camera.

We started the shoot at Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis, such a beautiful location with all the lakes and nature areas. Then we drove out to Brooklyn Park and to one of my favorite fields to get the beautiful sun backlit field look. then we went to a flower field that I know of where they have the most beautiful purple and yellow flowers.

Both me and Carine were literally eaten alive by mosquitoes during the shoot, I swear I had at least 10 bites after this we were out in the weeds tromping through the grass, and I think Caren had at least 15 bites by the end of the session. one thing about winter I do love is that there are no bugs to eat me so that is super good.

I love how artistic when is and that she brought all of her paintings to be photographed with the one of my favorite images is the one of her laying down with all of their her pictures around her, it's so unique and fun. Carine actually paints murals and wants to do something in the art field when she grows up which I think is the most amazing thing.
